Atlanta Media Conversion FAQs

Below are some of the more commonly asked questions and their answers regarding Atlanta Media's conversion process. Don't hesitate to contact us using our contact page if we haven't covered your questions or concerns!
Why shouldn't I just buy a machine and do the work myself?
You could do that, but keep in mind this is a timely process and may be more tedious than you expect. Throw in the cost of discs and machinery, and there is more headache than satisfaction.
What is the difference between your company & others who offer the same services?
Very simply, to us you are not a sale, but a new relationship, & you can expect that we'll treat you as friends and family. While our services may not differ much, our customer service does. Give us a chance to show you. As an additional bonus, we promise to beat any price you find lower than ours.
How long does the process take before I get my order?
The turn-around for most orders is about a week depending on our number of orders. Much depends on the length of your tapes, the dpi for picture/slides, and the types of package requested. In any case, we take time to make sure you get a quality product and do our best to meet or beat any timeline we give offer.
What if I am not satisfied?
Atlanta Media Conversion began with the principle that your satisfaction is mandatory. We will bend over backwards to ensure you can be confident your dollars are spent wisely when choosing our service to convert your old media to digital.
I have the old 3.5 floppy diskettes full of photos & other documents. Can you transfer those too?
Absolutely! Hardly anyone has the equipment anymore to read those old diskettes, but we are fully capable of taking care of it for you. Just call and we will let you know what we can do.
